Pillar beeswax candles are made from pure beeswax in our apiary in Hertfordshire. We make them all by hand using only natural beeswax directly from hives.
Beeswax candles are the only sustainable candles and truly eco-friendly option to high street candles.
Pillar candles are zero-waste option. Once burnt there’s nothing left.
Beeswax candles have natural subtle scent. They also emit light very similar to the sun. Our candles are great anti-depressant too as they cheer up you mood and spirit. Colour may vary as we use only natural beeswax (as opposed to synthetic one).
Pillar beeswax candles we make are raw candles and their wick may require trimming. Also keep candles away from drafts and busy areas in your house.

Thank you Five Bees Yard for the three gorgeous candles that I ordered as gifts for Christmas. All three scents ordered are divine: black rose and oud; jasmine and magnolia; and bergamot and patchouli. The jars/containers that the candles come in are well made and have a luxurious feel to them. The lids are also very well made. The quality of these candles is high and I was very happy to give them as gifts. The customer service was also amazing in the busy run up to Christmas, given all the COVID delays. Magdalena kept me up to date on my order. I had mentioned in a note during my order that if the candles were to be dispatched after the 8th December to contact me in order to change the delivery address. Magdalena did this and was prompt in keeping me updated and on sorting out international delivery for me. The change in the delivery address was very smooth and I was confident that the candles would arrive before Christmas, even with COVID delays (and they did so thank you Magdalena very much :) ). I look forward to being able to buy these candles for myself - especially the black rose and oud candle - once they are back in stock. The candles don’t have as much smell as expected, but we don’t know much about them. we are experiencing as we wanted to change to more eco friendly candles.

Gorgeous little tealight candles. Love the purity of beeswax and the addition of natural scent. Much prefer this way of scenting the room, I have discovered, to having one large burning candle; I can chose the holder and therefore the visual aspect and select a different scent dependent on my mood : )
Looking for beeswax tealights found this site and was tempted by the shand poured scented candle in a jar as they looked beautiful. All arrived safely and in recyclable packaging. Very happy with both the tealights and scented candle.
After some deliberation I chose the spiced orange zest candle and it smells spicy and warm as I hoped. The black container is really nice and has a tacile quality - it is really nice to hold. The wooden lid makes this candle look very sophisticated. I was expecting to want to remove the label but it also looks so good that I am going to leave it on. I can't waitto try another scent and will be ordering again.
The customer service was excellent - I had a problem with the courier delivery but I got an excellent and very quick response and verything was sorted.

I bought two hand dipped candles and they are really lovely. They smell amazing. However, when I burn them that smell does not fill the room. Personally, I prefer this as strong smells give me headaches. If you want something more strong check their scented candle range!
Will definitely buy from them again.
